Otherwise, I might not have a clean house. I think I just may keep him. :-)
As for the notebooks, may I suggest that you absolutely do not rip your notebooks apart, nor even throw away one single note.
My poor hubby just had a situation where he had worked many months on a book. In one bump of the keyboard, he lost it all. Most of his notes had been tossed, so he has started over. Fortunately, he had his original work. Otherwise, he said he would have chucked the whole thing. So, whatever you do, don't toss your notes.
Thanks for your help, Angelia. Hope you're enjoying the blog. ~ YayaYaya' s Homehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10766073744832801633noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4965079596276357608.post-51687667043077658282009-10-19T19:09:49.981-05:002009-10-19T19:09:49.981-05:00Hi Natalie,

Not a disaster, but could definitely be improved.
Mostly, I have problems with too much paperwork, but maybe we can all figure it out together, you s'pose?
I tried to follow on your site, but I'm having trouble making it list me as 'Yaya' and I'd kinda' like to figure that out so I can start following again. Know anything about that?
Glad you stopped by. I am pretty fortunate (don't ask me how) that I don't often lose socks. My poor hubby-buddy seems to lose them on a regular basis, though. I'll let hime know about pinning them together.
I also like your idea for keeping notes. Now, if I can just find some way of hanging my cork board. hmmmmmmm ~ YayaYaya' s Homehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10766073744832801633noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4965079596276357608.post-73706601699326142992009-10-19T10:11:10.192-05:002009-10-19T10:11:10.192-05:00Can't give much help on the house thing. I'...Can't give much help on the house thing. I've already discovered that I can have a clean house all the time or write, but not both at the same time. :-) On keeping track of notes. I used to write notes in lined notebooks, on the top of the page writing the title of whatever the note was for. I know have a shelf of the notebooks. If I was actively working on an idea I would transfer the notes from the notebook into my computer otherwise the notes stayed in the notebook. I have several times contemplated ripping the notebooks apart and separating the pages to go into either file folders or 3 ring binders, but haven't done it yet. I figure once I run out of WIPs to edit and submit and have to actually start a new project will be when I hit those notebooks again. I do keep a notebook by my bed and record late night inspirations, but I've found I don't write notes down anymore. I write during writing time and do other stuff during other times. I actually kinda miss always having ideas swirling in my head, but right now I think the well has run dry.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18370670423819447249noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4965079596276357608.post-54605467091373844892009-10-19T09:10:26.799-05:002009-10-19T09:10:26.799-05:00Oh that I could be in control of my life! At my house there are orphaned socks in abundance, dust bunnies everywhere, and little pieces of paper with important notes on them place where I can never find them again. Sometimes I try to get organized, but it never lasts long. My house isn't a disaster or anything, but it's never all clean at the same time. :)Nataliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00861022355718378425noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4965079596276357608.post-44299914717113377022009-10-19T07:41:32.902-05:002009-10-19T07:41:32.902-05:00PS- I've passed an award along to you. She had them safety pin their socks when they took them off. Then she washed and dried them that way.

Notes: I learned without a dry erase board/cork board combo, I lose those little notations constantly. I write my notes on the dry erase board, or cork it as soon as I write it on paper. One day a week I try to combine all those notes into a folder on my computer that just says "Tidbits of info" :)

As for dustbunnies, well, they are necessary in my house. LOL I wouldn't know what to do without them and I haven't figured out how to control them. :)Kristi Faithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17527544253341529009noreply@blogger.com
