It MIGHT Have Worked...

I'm here!  I'm here!  Let's see if I can remember the basics of blogging.  I can't believe how incredibly busy a person can be.  I did create a game and I truly hope that you will enjoy it.  I love making these games, but my greatest joy comes when others actually play and enjoy the final results.

So, I'm gonna' make a wild stab at posting this game and see if I can remember how its done.  Now, don't you sit on the other side of this blog and laugh at my efforts, y'hear?  You be sure and tell me if what I post really does look something like a word game.  I'm gonna' feel mighty funny if I'm on this side of my blog, thinking that I have posted a game when, in fact, there is nothing more than a scramble of letters to confuse the eye.  So, help me out, k?

And finally, here's the game... I hope:
Yay!    I think.  Did it work?  Did it work?  Are you able to see the game?  Did I remember how to upload a picture so you can see it?  I can't believe it!  I've been so busy and MIA from my blog so much that I wasn't sure if I would remember how things were done.

Now, remember; you can't sit on the other side of the bloggy world and laugh on accounta' I did it funny.  You gotta' tell me if I messed up, k?  K?  So, go ahead and play the game and lemme' know what you think.  And don't keep it a secret if it looks like something that's not uuuuhhhnmnm, playable.

And 'til the next time, keep a hug on.

Thank Goodness, Its Monday!

Whew!  The weekend is, more or less, over.  Sunday is my absolute busiest day of the week.  Well, that is, unless you count Monday through Saturday... then, its just a contest as to which day is the busiest.  I don't know if you manage to stay that busy.  I often wonder if the reason I'm so busy is because I don't think like other people; you know, organized.  Actually, I don't really think that's the reason, though, because I know so many people who are just up to their earlobes in busy.

How d'ya' s'pose we got this way?  So busy, I mean?  As I understand it, our ancestors did all their own baking and cooking, cleaning, making their own clothes... by hand, hunting, fishing and who knows WHAT ALL.  Still, they had time to sit down in the evening and enjoy a sunset, once in awhile.  Don't believe me?  Just ask Laura Ingalls Wilder.  Or, Anne of Greene Gables.  They knew how to find time for relaxing.

So, what am I doing wrong?  I mean, my good hubby-buddy does everything in the house, just so I will have time to sit and write.  And that's pretty-much all I do, too.  Yet, here I am, scrambling to keep up with... MYSELF.  There's gotta' be something wrong with that.

If you happen to walk by and see me doing something that is counter-productive, won't you please just step in and get me pointed in the right direction?  Surely, you could help a fellow-blogger get back on track, couldn't you?  Thanks.

Until the next time, keep a hug on.

Saturday Should NOT Fall On Monday!

Yee-Haw!  I have finally figured out that Friday through Monday are VERY  busy days.  In fact, Tuesday through Thursday aren't terribly slack, if you ask me.  How do so many of you do it?  How do you have specific days for what you write?  I've tried.  I've really, really tried to break it down so I could have Saturdays for games.  Evidently, though, its not gonna' work out, that way.

I still wanna' post word games for you, though.  In the first place, you seem to enjoy them.  In the second place, I love making them.  And in the third place, well.  hmmmm.  Well, I just don't know what the third place is.  A little help?

So, here's what I was thinking:  Instead of posting a game on the same day each week, I will post a game as often as seems reasonable (hopefully, at least once a week) and you can come here and play.  Also, instead of waiting to post the answers on another day, how's about I have a place where the answers Live?  That way, when you feel you have your puzzle solved, you can check and make sure.  Sound like a plan?

Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.  I'll let you in on a little secret, too.  I Loooooove blogging.  In fact, I think my mama was right.  She said that I loved to talk so much that, one day, if I wasn't careful, I would run out of words.  Hah!  I think I may have found a way around that little problem.  As long as I can write and share on my blogs, I can talk and talk and talk and NEVER run out of words on accounta' I'm not really speaking!  Am I clever, or what?
I'll put a link on each of my other blogs so everyone will know what's happening.  In this way, when I am in a Game-Making mood, I can Have a Ball.  And when I feel like sharing stories, well, I can do that, too.  Whaddya' think?  Is this something that you might enjoy?  Lemme' know your thoughts and we'll work from there, k?  Thank you all for your support and kind words.  So many of you have given me great advice and continue to help me out in so many ways.  I truly appreciate it, more than I can say.  So, don't be shy.  Keep sharing your views with me.  And 'til the next time, keep a hug on.
