Look'it I Can Do!

I do love discoverin' new things.  First, there's the whole thing of findin' that there's somethin' you never even knew existed AND it will do things that you always wanted to do.  Then, you get to flip through those virtual pages and dream about how nice it would be to make that clever toy do... THIS.  Ooooooh!  That's soooooo cool.  Next, you think, "Well, I wonder if it could do... THAT?"  In fact, I've been known to fantasize over a desired treasure for hours, days... even months, often knowing that I would never own said treasure.  *sigh*

Oh, the joys of wishin' and hopin' and plannin' and dreamin'...  Wait a minute!  Haven't I heard those words in a song?  Oh, yeah.  heheh.  Sorry 'bout that.  Now, what was I talkin' 'bout?  Let's see; I was wishin' and hopin'.  Then, came the plannin' and dreamin'.  No, no!  That wasn't it.  Somethin' 'bout a toy that I wanted... Oh, yeah!  That was it.  A new toy!

So, there I was, flippin' through those virtual pages and havin' so much fun with all the things that wunnerful treasure could do when lo and behold, right outta' the blue... POOF!  I found myself with pen in hand (aka, mouse) and at the controls of SO. MUCH. FUN.

Here; lemme' show you.  Watch this:

Cool, eh?  No?  You wanna' see more?  Okie-dokie; how 'bout this one?

There's more.  Yeah; I haven't even told you the good part... You can do this, too!  Jus' go here:  Maze Creator and check out alla' the fun stuff they have.  This is sooooooo muuuuuch fuuuuun.  There are several options and you are jus' gonna' love it.  It is sooooooo Cool Beans!

Although I was partially compensated in trying this program out, if I had known how much fun it was gonna' be, I woulda' owned it a long, long time ago.  My grandies are gonna' loooooove all the fun I can create for 'em.

Until the next time, keep a hug on.

Tools, Toys and Favorite Things

Wow!  I've been gone longer than I anticipated.  Did you forget that the 4th of July weekend was coming up when I said I would tell you my secret?  I forgot.  I fully expected to be back after a day or two.  The good news is that I have been having the greatest fun with my new toy.  The bad news is that I made you all wait far too long to play with me.  I'm sorry.

Now that you're here, though, there's nuthin' to stop us from havin' loads of fun.  So, come on; gather 'round and I'll show you what I got.  I hafta' tell a story on my good hubby-buddy, though.  He's such a stinker, at times.  When the package came in from CSN, he carried it upstairs for me.  Then he casually said, "I'm not putting it together."

Humph!  Does your hubby-buddy balk at putting things together?  Well, for just an instant, I had a sinking feeling that I had been abandoned.  It didn't take me long to decide that I could do it myself, though.  Jus' wantcha' ta' know, this was waaaaaaay outta' character for him.

So, timing myself and determining to do whatever it took, I set to work.  Patience, I decided, was my best friend, especially when I opened the box and discovered all those little pieces.  Interestingly, by stopping and starting and always checking the clock, I found that it only took me one hour and 59 minutes (yeah, I know I coulda' said two hours, but its more fun, this way).

When I went to share my handiwork with my good hubby-buddy, I started out by saying that I had messed up.  Imagine my shock when he, with a gesture of exhilaration(?), exclaimed, "Yes!  I knew you wouldn't be able to do it.  Women can't put things together."

Naturally, his reaction made me very happy that I had not asked for help.  Of course, when he saw my new toy, he changed his tone and was quite proud of what I had done.  Then, he asked how I thought it was messed up.  I told him that actually, that had been part of a joke to get him to come and see what I had done.  We had a good chuckle before I went on to share with him.

I thought about using my 4D Concepts Storage Tower for my sewing supplies or crafting tools; it would be great for either.  In fact, there are so many good uses for this handy tool.  In the end, I decided that I would be best served in using my tower  as an interim filing system.

By putting my papers in the different drawers, then transferring those to the large filing system at the end of the week, I've saved a lot of stress and time. Filing is not my favorite thing. Soon, I'll have my review up on CSN and you'll be able to see even more about it.

There are many small pieces and the task was slightly annoying at times, but the end result, for me, was well worth the effort.  I would gladly put another one or even ten together for the joy of having these useful units available.

Although I was given the 4D Concepts Storage Tower in exchange for a review, I have been honest in telling you about it.  I was not compensated in any other way.  My life has been greatly improved by this, my new favorite toy.  And I won't benefit from it, but my next question is how will you use yours?

Until the next time, keep a hug on.

One More For The Road!

Don't you just love it when Fun comes in multiples?  See, I only THOUGHT I was having fun before.  Now, where did I put the rules for the game of Eyeball Marbles?  Yeah, I'm really startin' ta' think I shoulda' gone with THAT barrel of fun, instead of the one I'm using.

You see these two teeth I had pulled the other day?  You see how much fun I've been having with them?  Well, that ain't the half of it!  Today, I went back to the dentist on accounta' just because the teeth are gone doesn't necessarily mean that the pain goes away... 'specially in my case.

I seem to be one of those rare individuals (about as rare as hen's teeth, evidently) who can still feel pain, even though my quotient of numbing solution would rival the winner's intake at a chug-a-lug contest.

To the Very. Last. Minute. in my dentist's chair, I continued to feel intense pain.  Yaaaaay!  Now, don't misunderstand; it is not... I repeat, NOT... the dentist's fault.  I have a history of needing buckets of medication whenever I have anything done.  Today was no different.  I was the problem.

I might add that I have never, EVER known a dentist who was soooo caring and so gentle.  I am very fortunate, indeed.  Still, my teeth are fighting it, tooth and nail, as it were.  Heh, heh.  Tooth and nail.  That was an accident, but it turned out to be a fun accident.  Heh, heh

So now, I am experiencing more fun than I think any one person should have, in the way of pain.  Please forgive me for all my whining, but I cannot think of much else, besides pain and how to escape it.  Hopefully, I will soon return to writing about more normal subjects, like Creepy Little Crawlers, for instance.  Thanks for visiting and listening.  Until the next time, keep a hug on.

Am I Still Alive?

Well, I was right.  I have definitely found one way that life is NOT fun.  Instead of having one tooth pulled, I had two pulled... one on each side of my jaw.  I think it would have been more fun if I had used my eyeballs in a rousing game of marbles.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, please read this post:  Life Won't Be The Same.  At the moment, the pain is winning, but I'll be back as often as I can.  If you don't see me for awhile, please say a prayer.  Thank you.

Now, I'm headed back  to bed.  Thank you for visiting.  Until the next time, keep a hug on.

Game For Saturday

Well, for awhile, I got away from posting games, but Game Time Saturday is back, again.  Each week, I will post a word game on Saturday evening and the correct answers for that game on Sunday evening.  I do hope you enjoy playing these games as much as I enjoy creating them.  I haven't figured out, yet, how to make them so you can play online, but I'm working on it.  For now, you can print the game out by right-clicking and choosing Print Picture.  And if you'd like more games, go to my other blogs here and here.
Have fun and keep a hug on.

Game Time Saturday #2

You thought I forgot, didn't you?  Nope!  I didn't forget to post a game for Game Time Saturday.  My hours of posting tend to be much later in the evening than most of you, I think.  Besides, (and don't tell anyone else), I couldn't remember how I managed to upload my game last week.  I do hope you understand.  And without further ado, I'll post a different kind of game for you.  Hope you like it.

Are we havin' fun, yet?

Okay, I don't know about any of you, but this is as much fun as Christmas. I love, Love, LOVE blogging. How about you? Have you ever had so much fun in your life? I have loved my computer for years, but that was waaaaaay before it learned how to chew its food. Now, look at it; not a baby anymore, no sir! Our baby's out of diapers and learnin' to crawl. And ain't I just the proud mama? You bet your sweet Bippy, I am.

Now that I've said alla' that, here's what I was leadin' up to: if you're not havin' fun with your blog, well... no disrespect intended, but you're not doin' it right. hahahahaha
No, I don't mean you're not doing the graphics right. I just mean ya' gotta' get in there and get some paint on your clothes and yer nose. Can't ya' just imagine if you were Bloggin' Paint and no one cared enough to splatter a little bit around? Why, if that were me, I would go into a deep depression.
Come on, bloggin' buddies, let's have some FUN !!!
By the way, if you click on any of my 'Blinkies,' you'll be directed to The Cutest Blog On The Block, a place that is just chock full of fun paints and all kinds of tools for doing all the remodeling you could possibly wanna' do. Now, let's get in there and spill some paint.
Oh, I hope no one minded how much paint I splattered around. hehe. Don't worry; a couple of clicks will clean that right up.
